Appledore Visual Arts Festival is an annual four day event. In 2009 (May 28th – May 31st ) we will be celebrating our 12th year. From its inception the Festival has grown in quality, content and popularity. Today it is recognized as a major high quality visual arts event with a growing regional and national profile. Most of our events are free and our aim is to offer an innovative programme of high quality visual arts events. The Festival is run during spring half-term and attracts over 7,000 visitors from the South West region as well as visitors from all over the UK. Our objective is to offer an exciting and diverse range of events for all age groups, including young people.
